Aiper Scuba V3 Ultra

Aiper sells six robotic pool cleaners on its US store, all listed for in-ground pools. They range from lighter robots for pools around 1,600 sq ft to camera-guided models that clean the floor, walls, waterline and surface of a big pool. Here they all are on Aiper’s published specs, so you can match one to your pool’s size and shape.

Specs from each model’s page on Aiper’s US store (aiper.store/us), read Oct 19, 2026. Runtime is Aiper’s figure for the mode it names, so compare like with like. *Aiper gives two figures for the X1 Pro Max: 3,200 and 3,230 sq ft for pool size, and 12 and 15 hours for its longest runtime. We show the lower ones. **Aiper’s S1 (2026) page gives the 270-minute runtime; the other S1 figures come from Aiper’s comparison tables, which don’t say whether they describe the 2026 version. Where only metric is published, the US figure is our conversion, rounded, with the published figure in brackets.

Which Aiper suits your pool

In-ground pool up to about 1,600 sq ft

Three Aiper robots are rated for this size, and all clean the floor, walls and waterline. The differences are in how they find their way and how long they run:

  • Scuba S3: up to 240 minutes in Eco, a 4-hour charge, a 3-micron fine filter, and it parks at the waterline for retrieval.
  • Scuba V3: adds an AI camera that spots debris and plans its route around it. Runtime is shorter (210 minutes in Eco) and it takes 5 hours to charge.
  • Scuba S1 (2026): the longest runtime here at up to 270 minutes in Eco, according to its 2026 page.

In-ground pool up to 2,150 sq ft

The Scuba X1 is rated for 2,150 sq ft and pools up to 66 ft long. It has more suction than the smaller models (6,600 GPH) and the bigger 1.3 gal (5 L) basket, but its runtime is up to 180 minutes, so a pool near its limit uses most of a charge.

Large pool, or a pool that collects leaves

Two models also clean the water surface, which matters if leaves and bugs float before they sink:

  • Scuba V3 Ultra: the highest pool rating (3,875 sq ft), dual AI cameras, and it also cleans shallow areas down to 7.87 in of water. It rises to the surface on its own for retrieval.
  • Scuba X1 Pro Max: rated for pools up to 100 ft long, with the largest basket (shared with the X1) and the longest skimming runtime (up to 12 hours). It weighs 33.1 lb, the heaviest here.

The six models

Aiper Scuba V3 Ultra

Aiper Scuba V3 Ultra

Aiper’s top model uses two AI cameras plus an ultrasonic sensor to recognize debris and obstacles, and Aiper lists 10 cleaning paths. It cleans the floor, walls, waterline, surface and shallow areas, with 8,500 GPH dual-pump suction and a 3.7 qt (3.5 L) top-load basket. It surfaces on its own when it’s done.

Suits: large in-ground pools up to 3,875 sq ft, including their shallow areas.

Worth knowing: the only runtime Aiper publishes is up to 480 minutes in skimming mode. It doesn’t give a figure for floor and wall cleaning.

Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max

Aiper Scuba X1 Pro Max

The X1 Pro Max cleans the floor, walls and waterline, then skims the surface. Aiper lists 8,500 GPH of suction, ultrasonic sensors for obstacles, a 1.3 gal (5 L) basket and a wireless charging dock, so it charges without a wet plug.

Suits: big in-ground pools up to 3,200 sq ft that collect floating leaves.

Worth knowing: runtime depends on the mode: up to 210 minutes on the floor, 150 on walls, 330 in Eco and 720 when skimming.

Aiper Scuba X1

Aiper Scuba X1

The X1 cleans the floor, walls and waterline, scrubbing up to 2 in above the waterline, with 6,600 GPH suction. It has a standard filter plus a fine filter Aiper rates down to about 3 microns, a 1.3 gal (5 L) basket and a wireless charging dock.

Suits: in-ground pools up to 2,150 sq ft that don’t need surface skimming.

Worth knowing: up to 180 minutes per charge, with no Eco figure published.

Aiper Scuba V3

Aiper Scuba V3

The V3 adds an AI camera to a lighter 18.2 lb body. Aiper says it spots debris and plans its path around it, and offers a mode that builds a weekly cleaning schedule on its own. It cleans the floor, walls and waterline with up to 4,800 GPH suction.

Suits: in-ground pools up to 1,614 sq ft, for owners who want the most hands-off routine at this size.

Worth knowing: the longest charge time of the range at 5 hours.

Aiper Scuba S3

New for 2026, the S3 cleans the floor, walls and waterline with up to 4,800 GPH suction, a 180-micron standard filter and a 3-micron fine filter. It runs up to 180 minutes in Standard mode and 240 in Eco, and parks at the waterline when done.

Suits: in-ground pools up to 1,614 sq ft.

Worth knowing: no camera, so it follows planned paths rather than targeting debris.

Every Aiper is cordless: what that means

None of these robots has a power cable to the pool deck, so there’s nothing to tangle and no outlet needed nearby. The trade-off is the battery: each robot cleans for as long as its charge lasts, then needs 3 to 5 hours on the charger before the next run. Match the runtime to your pool size, and check how the robot comes out of the water. The V3 Ultra and X1 Pro Max rise to the surface on their own, and the S3 parks at the waterline.

Add-on: the EcoSurfer S2 skimmer

If floating leaves are your main problem and your robot doesn’t skim, Aiper’s EcoSurfer S2 is a solar-powered skimmer that cleans the water surface only. It doesn’t replace a floor cleaner.
